Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Location: STEREO A
Event Time: 2024-10-05T19:30Z ( STEREO A: IMPACT )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
STEREO A: IMPACT
Activity ID: 2024-10-05T19:30:00-IPS-001 (version 2)
Quality of ICME Signature: 1 (lacks some signatures)
Note: A sharp jump in B total from 8nT to over 18nT (and eventually to 25nT), accompanied by a stark rotation/reversal of all three magnetic field components. This looks like a direct impact of a significant CME, which is most likely the 2024-10-03T12:48Z CME associated with the X9 class flare.
